The beach area offering around 8 miles of white, sandy beaches, lined with bars, restaurants and shops, is a magnet for tourists. Fuengirola is home to restaurants from around the world, with pretty streets and squares filled with tables and chairs on summer evenings. There is a packed schedule of events, including a yearly music festival in Solhail Castle and a festival showcasing the culture and food of many of the international residents of this great town.

Families love the zoo, the water park, the skate park and the beautiful beaches and there are state and private schools for all ages.

There are a wide range of properties in Fuengirola, from the beachfront apartment blocks and flats in central Fuengirola, to the townhouses and villas in the newer developments, it is a very popular place to live but has a surprisingly Spanish character when you venture off the beachfront strip.

Not to be missed: Solhail Castle, Biopark Fuengirola and AquaMijas.

Fun Fact: Fuengirola is the fastest growing town in Andalucía and among the top choices for residents and holidaymakers.
